Terms of Service
1. What you are agreeing to
By using Cadre at cadre.trendriders.tech you accept these terms. If you do not, do not use it.
2. What Cadre is
A working demonstration of an HR management module — people and employment records, leave, attendance and overtime, payroll calculation, performance and compensation cycles, and directory provisioning. It exists to show how the system is built and how it behaves.
It is not a payroll bureau, a system of record, or a compliance service, and nothing it computes should be relied on for paying anyone or for filing anything.
3. Do not put real data in it
The demonstration instance has no sign-in gate — anyone with the link can read it. So:
- Do not enter real employees' names, salaries, identifiers or contact details.
- Do not upload a real photograph of anyone but yourself.
- Do not enter anything you would not be comfortable with a stranger reading.
Data entered into the demo may be deleted or reset without notice, and we make no undertaking to keep it.
4. Acceptable use
Do not:
- attempt to breach, probe or degrade the service, or any other service on the same host;
- use it to store or transmit unlawful material;
- impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your association with an organisation;
- scrape or re-publish it at a volume that affects its availability.
Good-faith security research is welcome. Tell us at pkalambi@gmail.com before publishing anything, and do not access data that is not yours.
5. Accounts
Where sign-in exists, you are responsible for your account and for keeping your Google credentials secure. We may suspend an account that is being used in breach of these terms.
6. Statutory calculations — the important caveat
Cadre contains an Indian payroll module covering provident fund, state insurance, professional tax, gratuity and income tax deducted at source. Its statutory rates are unverified placeholders, and the software deliberately refuses to finalise a payroll run because of it.
Nothing it computes is tax, legal or payroll advice. Any figure it produces must be checked against the current instrument by someone qualified before it is used.
7. Availability
Offered as-is, with no uptime commitment. It runs on a single server, it will sometimes be down, and it may be taken down permanently without notice.
8. Intellectual property
The software, design and content are owned by Pranav Kalambi. Using the demonstration grants no licence to the source. Anything you enter remains yours, subject to clause 3.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Cadre is provided without warranty of any kind, and we are not liable for any loss arising from its use — including any loss arising from relying on a figure it produced. As it is free, no liability cap applies, because no consideration has been paid.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
11. Changes
We may change these terms; the date above will change with them. Continuing to use Cadre after a change means accepting it.
